Bringing Canadian Heritage and History to Life

2027 Showcases Available
This is our 2027 history showcase calendar lineup!
These are more like a history book than a calendar because each title includes 13-15 history vignettes, one for each month. These 32—40 page publications have 5,000 or more words, including timeline and illustrated stories. The showcases are illustrated with at least 60 historical photographs.
Preview of Calendar Covers!
As you can see from our titles, our award-winning showcases cover several key industries and histories of Alberta. The subjects include agriculture, ranching, petroleum, land reclamation, and many other areas of the prairie economy. The history showcases can be customized by companies or organizations and provide an economical way to advertise and promote the region’s history at the same time.
Framed Historical Showcases
Also have a wide range of framed historical showcases, featuring curated photographs from a variety of archives across the Province of Alberta.
Topics include petroleum and oilsands pioneering, especially momentous events such as first oil strikes, blown and gushing wells, and new technologies. Other topics include agriculture, ranches and rodeos, early road building, and the 1912 first Calgary Stampede. Many within each series are available with short historical write ups and several photos in the same framed showcase.
These can also be personalized to showcase a family's history, land, business, or particular historical event within your industry!
